Muna Obiekwe, a popular Nollywood actor is reported to have died today's afternoon of kidney complications. We learnt he had been battling with a kidney disease for some years now of which many of his colleagues did not know.
Today, he was rushed to the hospital in the morning after he was found vomiting in his house, but he eventually died in the hospital some hours later.
Muna, close friends revealed that had silently been battling with this sickness and was hoping to raise money from his planned Stage Show to take care of his health. But the time never came. It was said that for two weeks he did not go for his dialysis, which must have led to the kidney failure. Muna is gone.
Details about his death is still very sketchy. We pray for the his family and the Nigerian film industry for the fortitude to bear this great loss.
