NOLLYWOOD STARS AT AMAKA IGWE'S SERVICE OF SONGS IN LAGOS

The Candle night and Service of songs for the late Nollywood filmmaker, Amaka Igwe, was held on Monday, the 9th of June 2014. It was a solemn gathering, full of tears as actors and family friends still could not believe Amaka Igwe is gone.

The service of song and a tribute night which held at Ikeja saw Nollywood veterans, movers and shakers of the industry, especially most who have been into TV programmes and independent producers. The register includes: Olu Jacobs, Tunde Kelani, Rachel Oniga, RMD,
Patrick Doyle and Ireti Doyle, Ali Baba, Tee A, Ali Balogun, Zeb Ejiro, Kanoyo O., Kanaya, Ngozi Nwosu, Fred Amata, Kate Henshaw, Ego Boyo, Wunmi Obi, Isaac and Nneka Moses, Steve Osezua, Pat Oghere-Osezua, Lancelot Imasuen, Obi Osotule, Kingsley Omoefe, Famous Otakponmwen, Tony Akposhere (Zachy), Solomon Macaulay, OC Ukeje, Mike Nliam, Ralph Nwadike, Tony Anih, Nobert Ajegbo, Waje, Fidelis Duker, Ejike Asiegbu, Onyeka Onwenu, Bimbo, Peace Anyiam (AMAA), Benedict Johnson, Kingsley Ogoro, Teco Benson, and many others.

The Service of Song ended after family and close friend eulogized Amaka Igwe, with a final bow and snuffing off of the candles. Good bye, our beloved Producer/director. The funeral activities continues at Arondiuzogwu, in Anambra State.
