Ex-President of of Zimbabwe has died at the age of 95 in a hospital in Singapore where he has been receiving medical treatment since April.
His death was announced early this morning by his family and the Zimbabwean government.
Mugabe was a freedom fighter who liberated his people from the oppression of white minority who ruled the then Rhodesia. While in Prison, he people chose him as their leader.
He later became the President in 1980 and held on to power till 2017 when he was ousted by the military after the rumour was rife that his wife, Grace, might succeed him.
