TOYIN ABRAHAM TO LIZZY ANJORIN – ‘STOP CURSING MY SON AND HUSBAND’

Popular Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Toyin Abraham has with a sad and teary eye cleared the air on her sour relationship with a colleague, Lizzy Anjorin, requesting that the actress desists from cursing her husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi and son, Ire.

The misconception between the actresses started in 2019 when Anjorin was stopped and searched for drug peddling during her hajj trip to Saudi Arabia which was allegedly leaked by Toyin Abraham to Instagram blogs.

Anjorin claims that after her investigations, she found out that Toyin was responsible for the story been made public as she reigned curses on her husband and kid in a recent interview with a social media influencer, Esabod.

Toyin Abraham, in reaction to the allegations, in an Instagram Live session with fellow popular actress, Iyabo Ojo stressed that she was not responsible for the reports to the Law Enforcement Agents, as according to her, the duo has never crossed paths.

Holding a Bible to prove her innocence, she said, “Since I gave birth to my child, you have been bullying him. Let the whole mothers in this world come out and blame me for this single thing that I stood up for my son. Let the whole world blame me for this.

“I did not talk or say anything, but for this, I will stand up for my son. When the incident happened with Liz Anjorin, I did not know about it because it was during that time that I put to bed. They did not let me have my phone because I had just delivered my baby.

“It was after about two months that they gave me my phone and I saw all the messages, and hers was part of it. This is the Holy Bible that I am holding; let the Holy Bible judge me.

“It is so funny because Lizzy is not my friend and I do not know her; Saudi or no Saudi, I have never heard of it. How do I know her movement?”

While insisting that she had never spilled the beans of Anjorin to bloggers, she added, “What is my own with Lizzy. I have seen Lizzy just twice in my life. The first time was at Regina Chukwu’s job and the second time was at Wasilat Coded’s premiere. I do not know about her movement and God is my witness. I have only seen her twice.

“I do not know about her movement. I am speaking up now, let the whole world hear. I am speaking up because of my son. The last one they did, I could not talk because I just gave birth; but now, I have to talk and speak up for my son. They cannot lay curses on my son. Besides, if I do not stand up for my son, who will stand up for my son?

“Since the day they have been cursing me and peddling rumours about me, I never said a word; but today, it was too much and I need to stand up for my son. I have never spoken to any blogger and the only one I spoke to was Instablog and we did an advert with them. I have never spoken to a blogger to run anyone down.”

“My husband and I have two houses. We live in our own house and we have another in Ibadan. God has blessed us; I am not beefing anyone and I do not have a problem with anybody. God is my witness. I do not know where all this is coming from. I have never spoken about this but I want every parent on earth to judge this matter. They should ask Lizzy to state what I did; she should talk. If I offended you, call me.

“That woman kept cursing my son and husband. You can curse me but do not curse my son. I have never discussed Lizzy’s matter with anyone; we are not friends. God see me. I have never done that in my life. The reason why I had to speak up is because it is becoming too much and this is my son they are talking about. I have to speak up for my son.

“If I cannot speak up for my son and husband, then why am I a mother or a wife? I have never had any negative thoughts towards anyone," she annexed.

BEAUTY QUEEN BRAVELY AND BRAZENLY CONFRONTS NED NWOKO FOR FALSELY JAILING HER DAD AND OTHERS

“Ned Nwoko has consistently used proxies to do his dirty and fraudulent charges, in concert with dubious Nigerian police to lock up innocent men, including my father from Idumuje Ugboko for the murder that never happened or existed. How can one man be murdered so many times by different men and at different locations? Yes, all the charges do not list Ned Nwoko as the complainant. But he responded to my post and called me a liar: that confirmed that he is the sponsor of these frauds, as being insinuated. He is the main financier of the arrests and intimidations of my dad and our people. I am tired of standing by and watch one heartless man destroy our people, continue to use his financial resources to front and fund frivolous murder and terrorism charges against innocent men and the King of my hometown. If my father committed murder and terrorism, why is Ned Nwoko the one funding the ambush arrests and charges? Ned your name rings on the hallways and byways of the police stations as the “Order from Above”. . Where are the family of the alleged murdered victim? Doesn’t the dead have a family? Is Ned Nwoko from Benue State the alleged hometown of the victim?  Why are there inconsistencies from your camp as to how the man was murdered?

Since Ned Nwoko continues to mention MURDER AND TERRORISM against my father, let's then examine this case.

This is what Ned Nwoko doesn’t want you to know about the murder charges:

Sometime in 2017, Ned Nwoko instigated a crisis in Idumuje Ugboko Community in Delta State, as a result of the community's firm refusal to give him additional 90 hectares of land, having mismanaged the over hectares earlier giving to him.

In the ensuing crisis, it was alleged that one Cyprian Kumaorun was killed. While this was ongoing, Mr Okey Ifejoku was several kilometres away in Asaba. He was neither present at the scene of the crisis nor participate in any alleged fight.

However, since then, Ned Nwoko has made it a point of duty to terrorize the community until they fall on their knees and offer him the land on a platter.

By virtue of Mr. Okey Ifejoku's position as the chairman of the Idumuje Ugboko Development Union, he has borne the greatest oppression from Ned Nwoko.

Ned Nwoko has unlawfully used the instruments of state, particularly the Nigeria police in Delta State and Abuja, to oppress the helpless members of Idumuje Community.

In 2017, Ned Nwoko prompted the Police in Delta State to file Charge Number: A/240C/2017, at the High Court of Delta State, against Ochei Nnamdi and Ofonye Ufoh, for the alleged murder of Cyprian Kumaorun. This charge was held on merit and the defendants were acquitted.

Not done, Ned Nwoko, once again, prompted the police to file charge no: MI/24C/2020, at the magistrate court of Delta State, Isele-Uku, against his own king (Obi Chukwunonso Nwoko), Mr. Okey Ifejoku and four other innocent members of the community, for the alleged murder of Cyprian Kumaorun. The charge was sent to the DPP of Delta State, who advised that the defendants had no case to answer: On the basis of the DPP's legal advice, the charge was struck out.

While this was going, Ned Nwoko moved to Abuja and got officers of the FCID Abuja to arrest Mr. Okey Ifejoku and 9 other members of the Idumuje Ugboko community. The 10 defendants were arrested, detained at FCID for up to six months, before they were charged to Court, in two batches, by the office of the A.G of the Federation for alleged terrorism and alleged murder of Cyprian Kumaorun. One wonders how the A.G of the Federation got so interested in a Communal Dispute in Idumuje Ugboko, with all the actual terrorism and banditry going in the North East and North West of Nigeria. Additionally, how could a charge be filed in Abuja when all the ingredients of the alleged offense and all the defendants reside in Delta State?

The first charge: FHC/CR/169/2020 was before Justice Taiwo Taiwo of the FHC and has been transferred to the FHC , Delta State.

The Charge: FH/CR/11/2019 (Mr. *Okey Ifejoku and 7 others) was assigned to Justice Abang of the Federal High Court. As of the time of writing this, 7 of the defendants have been granted bail, while the innocent youth Leader, Raymond Omosiete, has remained unjustly incarcerated, first at FCID Abuja, and later at Nigerian Correctional Service, Suleja, since November 23, 2020. All on Ned Nwoko's prompting.

Mr. Okey Ifejuku spent a cumulative time of about 9 months in both FCID and Nigerian Correctional Centre, Kuje, before he could perfect his very stringent bail conditions.

Seeing that almost all the defendants have been granted bail and that the charge is being exposed for what it is, outright persecution, Ned Nwoko, once again, prompted officers of the same FCID Abuja, to initiate another round of arrest, for the alleged murder of the same Cyprian Kumaorun, for which Mr. Okey Ifejoku had earlier been discharged by the Magistrate Court, upon the DPP's advice, and is in fact, still standing trial at the Federal High Court, Abuja.

On March 25, 2021, as Mr. Okey Ifejoku and his codefendants exited the FHC Abuja, where they had gone to attend their trial, officers of the FCID Abuja, arrested him and his deputy, Mr. Godwin Akaba, kept them at FCID for almost a week, before they were transferred to Delta State Police Command, Asaba, where they are still being detained right now.

Upon inquiries at the FCID, we were informed that they were arrested for the alleged murder of Cyprian Kumaorun. A few weeks later, an additional member of the community was arrested, and the police have vowed to arrest and prosecute the entire community, even though there are several concluded and ongoing cases on this issue.

As at the time of writing this, Mr. Okey Ifejoku, who has been granted bail by the Federal High Court, is in detention at the Delta State Police Command, Asaba, for an offense he did not commit. The Police have not charged him to court and they have refused to release him.

While all these are ongoing, Ned Nwoko has instigated some members of the community with no trace of royalty to challenge the Obiship of King Chukwunonso Nwoko. As a result of this, the king is yet to be given a staff of office, more than three years after he assumed the stool of his forefathers.

QUESTIONS FOR NED NWOKO:

1. What does Ned Nwoko want?

2. Why does he insist on Mr. Ifejoku Okey being detained indefinitely for the same offense he had earlier been discharged by the Magistrate Court and is also standing trial at the Federal High court, having been granted bail?

3. Does it not amount to an abuse of court process, cherry-picking and forum shopping, for the state and the police, prompted by Ned Nwoko, to arrest several members of the Idumuju Ugboko community and charged them in several different courts, for the same alleged offence?

4. What happens if the FHC and the High Court give different judgments on the same issue, same facts and same defendants?

5. Why does Ned Nwoko insist on the persecution of Mr. Okey Ifejoku even though he is innocent?

6. Can a man be bigger than his community?

#FreeOkeyIfejoku

PLEASE HELP ME TELL NED TO FREE MY FATHER. I WANT MY FATHER TO BE FREED NOW, ALONGSIDE EVERY OTHER INNOCENT MEN OF IDUMUJE UGBOKO LANGUISHING IN JAIL. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I WILL NOT STOP. THIS IS MY FIGHT AND I AM WILLING TO GO TO JAIL FOR IT. NED NWOKO I AM NOT AFRAID OF YOU. I AM THE SAME AGE AS YOUR WIFE, REGINA AND YOU CANNOT DO ME ANYTHING.

JUSTICE FOR MY FATHER IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.

BUHARI, HOPE UZODINMA, God Has Told Me To Prophesy Against You" - Rev Father Mbaka

Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has spoken against the recent killings in South East Nigeria, jail break in Imo State and the activities of IPOB Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his Eastern Security Network, ESN. During one of his sermons, the clergy who is the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, also spoke against President Muhammadu Buhari and the governor of Imo State, Gov Hope Uzodinma.

Below are excerpts:

"I can never support terrorism, neither will I allow you to brand our children terrorists when they are not. If some people broke the prison in Owerri, if you caught them, arrest, interrogate them, it may be possible that no human being broke into that prison, it may be jailbreak from God.

It happened in Acts of Apostle chapters 5. There was no jailbreak and nobody was arrested. God can set the prisoners free. For people to go around and kill our young men without trying them is evil. I’m just warning our Governors. Nigerians are dying like rats and nobody cares; God is angry with leaders, from Buhari to the last. You have failed God.

Hope Uzodinma who came here and put his hand on this altar and swore he will protect the lives of Imolites is now organizing the killing of Imolites and he wants me to keep quiet? I was keeping quiet until the blood of my brother was shed. Never! Whoever will support that will suffer. How Is it difficult for the military, police and DSS to arrest one person? What if the person you killed is innocent of what he is accused of?

You killed Ikonso and you are parading his body as if you have done anything. Go and kill poverty, unemployment, insecurity, you know how to kill, wicked people. God’s anger is on. No prophet will be spared if you keep quiet about what is happening in the country. If the leaders do not stop what is going on, it will stop them.”

He urged Nigerians to stop misquoting him because he is just a messenger of God and maintained that Buhari does not call him and he does not call Buhari.

They said I was the one that prayed for Hope Uzodinma. Hope Uzodinma was like a vision that came to me, how am I involved in it? The message from God just passed through me, I don’t know his political story. Till today someone (Uzodinma) who became Governor has not come to give thanks to God here. I know If he is receiving advice from this sanctuary he will not be messing up. Those advising Uzodinma has killed him while he is still alive.

I want you to know that up till today, I don’t know who is Nnamdi Kanu, I have never seen him face to face but wherever he is may God bless him. It is not a bad thing if someone has risen up to shout that his brothers are suffering, May the lord bless his courage.

What is happening in this country is heartbreaking, tears shedding, nerve-racking and mind-blowing. Can our security agent and leaders account for us, how many people have died under one week or month? Students being kidnapped from the university and there is a leadership. It is either they are involved in it or they should stop or what is happening will stop them. Buhari, Hope and those who want to fight me, remember there was a time God told me to support you people now God has told me to withdraw and prophesy against you.”

His words came as a surprise to many as Father Mbaka was known to have "ordained" APC's Buhari and Gov Uzodinma of Imo State. Mbaka has always spoken for or against political leaders in Nigeria using his Aduration platform which see thousand attend regularly in Enugu. A faction of the Catholic authorities in Nigeria have frowned at this, but Mbaka has always maintained his stance and political preaching.

Recall that Comedienne, Princess had explained how a ward living with her was reportedly molested by Yoruba actor, Lanre, but popularly known as Baba Ijesha. This was 7 years ago when the girl was 7.

After the now 14-year old girl was discovered to be suffering some psychological difficulties which was affecting her education, the girl finally confessed that the actor had sexually molested her. To confirm further, Princess and others set up CCTV in her house and asked Baba Ijesha to come see her. She deliberately left the house, leaving the girl alone at home. True to expectations, Baby Ijesha knowing that he was all alone with the victim, tried again to have sex with her.

Baba Ijesha is a family friend to Princess who had also helped him in many ways including to continue his education.

Many actors came out in defence of Baba Ijesha, some asking for caution, including famous actor Yomi Fabiyi. Female acitivists and some OAPs have been lambasting him and other actors who are asking for the video evidence. Princess insisted she would not release the video where Baba Ijesha was trying to rape the girl again recently, but this video was made after he was arrested and being interrogated.

Overzealous Policeman Falls Off A Nurse From Motorcycle In Ondo State

Police brutality and violation of human rights of the Nigeria citizens have once again come to limelight with a recent incidence in Ondo State.
An overzealous policeman at Ode-Irele in the Irele Local Government Area of Ondo State reportedly injured a nurse of official duty on her way to the hospital. This occurred at a roadblock mounted to enforce the curfew ordered by the state government.
The nurse is known as Modupe Ajama, how was being conveyed by a motorcycle (okada) fell from down after the policeman threw a stick at a motorcycle.

In her testimony, she said, “On April 22, I received an emergency call from my colleague around 8.20pm to come and lend a helping hand to a pregnant woman, who was in labour with a twin gestation, being a professional midwife licensed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
“I was to receive the babies from the theatre and resuscitate one of them, who had fetal distress. I immediately came to the Irele-Okitipupa Road and saw a motorcyclist, who just dropped off a passenger, and I asked him to convey me to the hospital.
“Getting to the Irele roundabout, we saw a checkpoint and I explained to the security agents there that I am a nurse working with the Irele General Hospital and that I was called for an emergency situation in the hospital and I showed them my identification card and I was allowed to proceed.
“We came across a second checkpoint around Bobby’s shop in Irele and I explained to the police personnel and I was allowed to go; we passed through the third checkpoint, but while approaching the fourth checkpoint around the Erica pharmaceutical shop, on sighting the motorcycle, a policeman just came from the left side of the road, threw a stick at it, which made the rider to lose control and both of us fell and the motorcycle skidded, dragging us both on the asphalted road to the other side of the road.
“The cop, who threw the stick came closer with a gun and I begged him to please take me to the hospital as I needed to be attended to, but he just left us and said ‘Good for you, God catch you, bastard’. The policemen at the previous checkpoints, who saw the accident, rushed to where we were and got a motorcycle among the ones they had seized to take me to hospital.”
Now, one wonders the kind of training these policemen undergo. why would a policeman not be civil in his action towards the citizens? The Federal Government and the police authority needs to put such overzealous policemen in check. They must be taught to respect the human right of the citizens of Nigeria they are supposed to protect.

7 MORNING HABITS THAT MAKE IT HARDER TO LOSE WEIGHT

Why are morning rituals important? Well, the way your morning starts often dictates how the rest of your day is going to go. If you get up on the proverbial wrong side of the bed, then your whole day will feel horrible. It’s more or less the same with weight gain. No matter how hard you try to lose weight, there are just some morning habits that contribute to weight gain and tune your body towards consuming more calories.

Body fat accumulates on our bodies from many sources in our daily routines. It’s not as simple as choosing to have a healthy breakfast every day – although, as we’ll see, that does help a lot. If you’re serious about your weight loss, here are some habits to try and kick so that you can truly start making the progress you’ve been waiting for.

HERE ARE 7 MORNING HABITS THAT MAKE IT HARDER TO LOSE WEIGHT
“Cutting back on calories is not the answer to successful weight loss and successful health … you have to increase the quality of what you eat, not just reduce the quantity.” – Joel Fuhrman

1. YOU DON’T DRINK A GLASS OF WATER AFTER YOU WAKE UP.
Whether it’s because you forget, or because you didn’t know – many people don’t do this. Good news! It’s a simple routine to include in your morning activities. If you need a reminder, set a glass of water on your nightstand before you go to sleep. In the morning, first thing after you wake up, drink it. Many people think you should drink water during breakfast; however, that’s wrong. Water’s function is to accelerate your metabolism and make processing breakfast a lot easier. It’ll also help you get rid of the unhealthy toxins in your body. So, no matter whether you feel it or not, make sure you drink that glass of water every morning and you’ll see your body fat decrease more quickly!

2. YOU DON’T LET THE SUNSHINE IN.
And no, we’re not talking about listening to the song. Sunlight is good for you any time of the day, but it’s especially good when you wake up. If you like sleeping with the curtains closed, it’s time to train yourself out of that habit. The rays of the sun will help you kickstart your metabolism right and prepare your body for both eating breakfast and processing it the right way. You’ll also be surprised by the burst of energy a little bit more sunshine will give you. Just 20 or 30 minutes of sunshine in the morning will be great for your BMI and your weight loss journey.

3. YOU ADD TOO MUCH TO YOUR MORNING CUPPA.
This is a difficult one for people who want to lose weight, especially those for whom caffeine is a necessary ingredient to start the day. But it’s not really about the coffee itself. In fact, coffee is a natural antioxidant and great for your digestion. No, it’s if you have coffee with sugar, milk, or other additions. All those sugars in the morning will do the exact opposite of aiding digestion. They’ll add calories and you’ll start off behind on your weight loss goals. Drop the sugar and go for a black cup of coffee. Or even better, switch to green tea, a natural antioxidant that tastes better than black coffee, with the added benefit of keeping you awake enough to start your day.

4. YOU SKIP BREAKFAST.
Even if you don’t feel like eating early in the morning, there’s a reason why people say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. You absolutely cannot afford to skip breakfast if you’re trying to lose weight. That said, try to avoid eating anything sugary – like cold cereal – or anything with a lot of preservatives. Instead, go for a light but nutritious breakfast. A smoothie is a lot of people’s go-to choice because it’s easy to make and you can have it on the go. But something as simple as a bowl of oatmeal or some yogurt with berries will be enough to get you started for the day.

5. YOU SKIP ON THE MORNING EXERCISE.
Whether it’s yoga or a quick jog, try to incorporate exercise in your morning routine. I know, it’s difficult. You might still be feeling tired or sleepy, but the positive effects of incorporating exercise into your weight loss routine are numerous. Exercising is a great way to wake up and increase your metabolism, and it also decreases your appetite. Normally, you’d eat to wake up, but if you exchange your calorie-filled breakfast for a 15-minute yoga session or a quick jog, you’ll feel much more inclined to eat a healthy breakfast afterward.

6. YOU READ THE NEWS IN THE MORNING.
It might sound counter-intuitive but reading the news can be detrimental to your weight loss routine. When you wake up, your cells are working quicker than normal to try and get your body up to normal speed. Stress, which can often be associated with reading the news, will turn your stem cells into fat cells and make you gain body fat. The same goes for trying to get a lot of work done the moment you wake up. Instead, try listening to some relaxing music or reading a book when you wake up. The less stressed you are in the morning, the easier it’ll be to lose weight.

7. YOU OVERSLEEP.
You should always try to get your 7-8 hours of sleep every day, but not more than 10 hours. When you oversleep constantly, your BMI will increase and you’ll find your belly fat increasing with that too. That’s because your body will expect to be fed, and when you sleep instead, it’ll produce more fat cells for sustenance. Additionally, oversleeping will affect your metabolism and your breakfast schedule; keeping meal times consistent is important in losing weight.

FINAL THOUGHTS
It might seem that weight loss is difficult and almost unachievable – but don’t lose your positive thinking. It’s easy to make those simple lifestyle changes in your morning routine. Once they turn into habits, you’ll see how much easier it’ll be for you to shed your body fat and continue the weight loss journey you’ve always wanted.
